The Spurs “big three” recorded their 500th win together as a result, second most all-time among trios in NBA history.

San Antonio stuggled to get going before the fourth quarter, finding themselves still trailing after three.

The Spurs struggled throughout the game shooting wise but were able to secure the game thanks to some good fortune.

The Clippers went cold down the stretch, scoring zero field goals over the last 5:48 of the game. San Antonio capitalized on that and went on a 14-3 run to close out the game and seal the victory.

Turnovers were a good positive for the Spurs as they only committed eight in the game after averaging 18.2 through their first five games.
