San Antonio Spurs vs Phoenix Suns Highlights

The San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns were both looking to start 2-0 after impressive victories to kick off their season. It was the Suns that came out with a 94-89 victory. The Spurs blew an 11 point half lead and they allowed the Suns to score 58 second half points. Isaiah Thomas scored 18 of his 23 points in the second half leading the rally for Phoenix. Markieff Morris dominated for the Suns finishing with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Despite blowing the lead the San Antonio Spurs had a chance to tie the game with five seconds left, when the Suns were up 92-89, but they got a five second violation, when Boris Diaw was inbounding the ball.

Tony Parker had a strong game, going for 19 points and 6 assists in 30 minutes. Kawhi Leonard made his season debut for the San Antonio Spurs after missing the opener with an eye infection. Leonard finished with 6 points and 8 rebounds in 24 minutes.
