Gregg Popovich announced today that Leonard is in for Friday.
Kawhi Leonard’s return to the court will mark his first game in about three weeks. Leonard has been out because of an eye infection that he has been nursing.
The 6-foot-7 forward was cleared for the home opener for the San Antonio versus the Dallas Mavericks, however, the Spurs decided to keep Leonard out as an added precaution.
Kawhi Leonard’s return is great news for the San Antonio. Leonard is an important contributor and will bolster the Spurs lineup immensely.
