By Jay Desai

The San Antonio Spurs have officially waived 6-foot-5 guard John Holland.

Below is the official press release from the San Antonio Spurs of the waving of John Holland:

The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have waived guard John Holland.Holland, who was signed by San Antonio on Sept. 25, did not appear in either of the Spurs first two preseason games. San Antonio’s roster now stands at 18.

Yesterday, it was reported that Holland would sign with Turkish team Beşiktaş.

John Holland was the last player to be added to the San Antonio Spurs training camp roster. The 6-foot-5 swingman had low chances to make the team, making a signing elsewhere not very surprising.

He did not play in either of the Spurs first two preseason games.
