The San Antonio Spurs will be kicking off game two of their seven game preseason tour with a match against Fenerbahçe Ülker of the Turkish League. The Spurs will be playing their second game overseas, this time in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Spurs are coming off a shocking 94-93 loss against Alba Berlin, losing at the buzzer, so it will be interesting to see how things go for San Antonio this time around in another road game against a European club.

The Spurs will definitely have to bring their “A” game if they want to beat Fenerbahçe Ülker. This will be no cake walk as the Turkish team is strong and will be looking to capitalize on the reeling Spurs.

Fenerbahçe Ülker has three former NBA players on it’s team in former 6th overall pick Jan Vesely, former Laker Andrew Goudelock, and Semih Erden who has spent time with both the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Those aren’t the solid players Fenerbahçe Ülker has though. In addition to the former NBA players, the Spurs will also have to watch out for Nemanja Bjelica, a sweet-stroking 6-foot-10 small forward, and Luka Zoric, a 6-foot-11 big man who does a great job getting to the line.

The Spurs had some standout performances last game with Tony Parker scoring 28 points and Tim Duncan picking up double-double, 14 points and 10 rebounds.

San Antonio will be looking to build on those performances against Fenerbahçe Ülker.

The odds are in the Spurs favor heading into this game as every NBA team that has played two preseason games on the road against European teams and lost the first has come back to win the second.

The game will be early tomorrow at 11 p.m. CT. It can be seen on NBA TV.
