First, some good news. Earl Watson, a 13-year NBA veteran who last played with the Portland Trailblazers, has agreed to a deal to join the coaching staff of the San Antonio Spurs D-League affiliate, the Austin Toros. Read the whole story here!
Last, we have some bad news. Tiago Splitter was injured in day three of San Antonio Spurs training camp. It appears the Brazlian big man has re-aggravated a right calf injury. Splitter will be re-evaluated in 7-to-10 days by the Spurs medical staff. See the sad news here.
