Boris Diaw might be on vacation during San Antonio Spurs training camp but that does not mean he does not have have to respond to Gregg Popovich’s weight comments on him. We’ve got that and more on today’s edition of Duncan’s Daily Dose!
Our first piece we have for you is the aforementioned response to San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich’s comments about Diaw’s weight.
The 6-foot-8 forward received a nice vacation from the Spurs organization due to the large amount of basketball he has played over the last two years. During Boris Diaw’s absence, coach Popovich took the time during media day to make some jokes about Diaw’s weight issues.
Pop on Boris Diaw: “Boris is having pina coladas. We have a pool where you guess his weight. You have to start at 275.”

Boris Diaw might have been the butt of a joke but he ended up getting the final say, striking back with this awesome post on Instagram!
For those of you wondering, the caption reads “No worries pop only one glass of wine and daily workouts!” How’s that for a response?
Our next piece we have for you keeps with our Boris Diaw theme for the day. Since coach Gregg Popovich jokingly called out Diaw, we thought it would be fun to add a little fuel to the fire and include a highlight reel of Boris Diaw from last season, just to show Pop has nothing to worry about!
