Seven San Antonio Spurs Ranked in SI’s Top 100 Players

Sports Illustrated revealed their complete rankings for the top 100 players today and seven of the 100 were San Antonio Spurs players.
The San Antonio Spurs finished with four players in the top 50 and one player in the top five. Boris Diaw (No. 100), Danny Green (No. 96), Tiago Splitter (No. 70), Manu Ginobili (No. 41), Kawhi Leonard (No. 28), Tony Parker (No. 15), and Tim Duncan (No.5) all made the cut.
This is especially impressive considering the San Antonio Spurs only have 14 players with guaranteed contracts on their roster. This means half of their roster is considered to be in the NBA’s top 100 players by Sports Illustrated!
