It was a busy offseason day in the San Antonio news world yesterday! Today, we have updates, highlights, and more!

Our first piece in today’s edition of Duncan’s Daily Dose is a link to great piece on Bleacher Report. The piece is about how important the pick-and-roll is in today’s NBA. Bleacher Report analyzes the correlation of pick-and-roll efficiency and offensive efficiency.

The San Antonio Spurs have been running the pick-and-roll to perfect over the past decade with Tony Parker. Check out how they stack up against some of the other teams in the league here on Bleacher Report’s article.

The next piece we have for you is in video form. A Minecraft user and NBA fan got a little creative and made this masterpiece. It’s a giant NBA Finals logo along with equally as big Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs logos created in Minecraft.

The San Antonio Spurs were ranked as the number one franchise in all of the four major sports by ESPN in their yearly ESPN The Magazine Ultimate Team standings. You can read more about that here.

Also, Gustavo Ayon, a player who the Spurs were looking to sign, had reached an agreement with FC Barcelona to release his Spanish ACB League rights, allowing him to potentially sign with ACB League team Real Madrid who Ayon had agreed on a deal with earlier in the offseason. Read about that here.

The San Antonio Spurs also released their local broadcast schedule for the 2014-2015 NBA Season so I know some of you Spurs fans in Texas will definitely want to check that out here.
