San Antonio Spurs Bring In Jamaal Franklin for Workouts

The San Antonio Spurs have brought in Jamaal Franklin for workouts according to Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express News.

The San Antonio Spurs training camp begins on September 27th and the team still has one more available roster spot.
Franklin, a San Diego State University product and former collegiate teammate of Kawhi Leonard, played for the Memphis Grizzlies last season averaging 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds in 21 games.He was waived by Memphis last month.
Selected in the 2013 NBA Draft 41st overall, Franklin also spent time in the NBA D-League with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants last season. He averaged 15.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists during his 16 game stint.
Jamaal Franklin is very close friends with San Antonio Spurs player Kawhi Leonard. They both played for the same team in college and Franklin recently attended Leonard’s basketball clinic last month in Moreno Valley, California.
