By Jay Desai

This is the first edition of Duncan’s Daily Dose also known as San Antonio Spurs updates. Here we will include interesting links on the Spurs ranging from highlights to rumors and everything in between!

We have gone through some editorial changes over the past few weeks so I just want to start off by saying welcome to our new, revamped site on behalf of the new editors, Jay Desai (myself) and George Middleton. Whether you’ve always made Air Alamo your home or are new to our site, welcome and we hope you enjoy the ride!

Throughout the season we will be providing high quality coverage of the San Antonio Spurs, with posts ranging from breaking news to more analytical and opinionated pieces.

If this is your first visit to Air Alamo we would like to extend a special hey and hope you will make Air Alamo one of your daily visits as a San Antonio Spurs fan! You can keep up with us on Twitter at @AirAlamo and find us on Facebook under the page Air Alamo.

With that said, let’s jump into Duncan’s Daily Dose.

First off we have a blast from the past in Danny Green’s game-winner vs the Los Angeles Lakers in 2012. Thanks to our friends over at the San Antonio Spurs sub-reddit for posting this on their page!

Check it out the game-winner is awesome!

Next up is what appears to George Gervin’s first selfie. The Gervin, nicknamed “the iceman,” was star back in the day for the San Antonio Spurs averaging 25.1 points and 5.3 rebounds on 50.4% shooting during his illustrious 14-year career. Monday’s, I mean Tuesday’s, just got better, especially if you’re seeing this for the first time!

We think this is George “The Iceman” Gervin’s first ever selfie. You’re welcome.

Also happening in the San Antonio Spurs’ world was the Spurs caravan visiting Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. You can check out some photos from the trip here.

Finally we have some more news related items. The San Antonio Spurs might still be interested in Gustavo Ayon according to reports. Read about that here. Also, the San Antonio Spurs may be open to a sign-and-trade for Aron Baynes. More on that here.

That’s it for Duncan’s Daily Dose. Check back with us tomorrow at the same time to see what’s going on in the San Antonio Spurs’ world!
