Ryan Hollins has claimed that the San Antonio Spurs are interested in him. The former Los Angeles Clipper stated on the Bottom Line Sports Show on the NBA Sirius XM channel that he had been in talks with the San Antonio Spurs and a few other NBA teams.

The Spurs do have an open spot open but San Antonio has not been previously linked to Hollins before this discussion. Ryan Hollins sparsely played for the Clippers last season, posting averages of 2.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 7.9 minutes.

Ryan Hollins was one of the first bigs off the bench last season for the Los Angeles Clippers and his measly 7.9 minutes per game shows you just what type of player the Clippers thought he was and how depleted the Los Angeles frontcourt was.

More from Spurs Rumors

While Hollins may occupy the final roster spot, the Spurs have been linked to other players such as Gustavo Ayon, Ray Allen, and Aron Baynes. All three players provide better options for the Spurs than Ryan Hollins, who seldom played for the Clippers.

What do you think of Ryan Hollins potentially a Spur? Should the San Antonio Spurs look into signing Ryan Hollins? Let us know in the comments!

Stay tuned to Air Alamo for this developing story to see if the San Antonio Spurs reciprocate the interest!
