NBA Commissioner Adam Silver addressed the media in a press conference before attending the Memphis GrizzliesOklahoma City Thunder playoff game, per ESPN2.

First, Silver started the press conference by stating his condolences for Memphis Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley’s death.

Silver then began addressing the Donald Sterling situation by admitting its offensive and disturbing nature. He empathized with the Clippers players and coaches for having to go through this situation throughout the playoffs. He said Mayor Kevin Johnson has been asked by the players to become involved in the situation and speak on their behalf. Silver wasn’t prepared to discuss any potential sanctions against Donald Sterling until Sterling gets his due process.

However, Sterling agreed to not attend the next Clipper playoff game against the Golden State Warriors.

“Mr. Sterling agreed that he would not attend the game tomorrow, and the investigation is ongoing. … [Chris Paul] and I agreed that all of his attention should be [to focus on the NBA Playoffs].

*End of update.

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has, again, been extremely offensive, to say the least.

Trisity Miller of FanSided’s FullyClips tells us about TMZ obtaining voice records of, allegedly, Donald Sterling making extremely racist remarks to his wife, specifically referring to NBA superstar Magic Johnson.

“I think the fact that you admire [Magic] — I’ve known him well, and he should be admired. And I’m just saying that it’s too bad you can’t admire him privately. And during your ENTIRE F****** LIFE, your whole life, admire him — bring him here, feed him, f*** him, I don’t care.”

“You can do anything. But don’t put him on an Instagram for the world to see so they have to call me. And don’t bring him to my games. OK?”

Are you kidding me?

Magic Johnson responded, and rightly so, with a series of tweets:

TMZ reported this morning that Clippers owner Donald Sterling doesn’t want me or other African-Americans to come to Clippers games.

.@cjbycookie and I will never go to a Clippers game again as long as Donald Sterling is the owner.

LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s comments about African Americans are a black eye for the NBA.

I feel sorry for my friends Coach Doc Rivers and Chris Paul that they have to work for a man that feels that way about African Americans.
