We are right around the corner for training camps to open up and pre-season to begin, as it has been year in and year out, there are many that are stating whom they feel will be the champions of the NBA in the next season.

As many will be targeting the Miami Heat, as they look to three-peat, the L.A. Times are thinking there is another team that will be raising the banner and the trophy at the end of the year.

Our friends over at Project Spurs reported the news from Ben Bloch of the L.A. Times. Here is what he had to say:

And the NBA champion is…

San Antonio.

The Pacers finally zoom past the Heat in the playoffs before being totaled by the more savvy Spurs. Ginobili and Leonard make their free throws in the final minute this time and Duncan gets to call every digit on one hand a ring finger.

How do you Spurs fans feel about this prediction?
