Gasp.  There was a lot of that going on just a few days ago when Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs injured his knee during an exhibition game against Spain on Monday.  Then, a sigh of relief.

After an MRI was given to Parker, it all came back clear and that there were no ‘significant’ damage to the knee.  Surely all fans as well as the coaching staff all felt relieved from this news.  Today, Parker took to his official facebook page and commented on his injury and how he needs to take a few days to be under ‘intensive care’.

Our friends over at Project Spurs displayed a screen shot of Parker’s page and full credit is given to them.

This is great to see that Parker is wanting to make sure that he is fully 100% before hitting the floor with Team France.  We all know that once his team does take the floor, he will be playing a heavy dose of minutes.  As Jeff Garcia of Project Spurs put it, “Might as well just grin and bear it Spurs fans. He will be playing heavy minutes next month in Slovenia and he will be heading into Spurs training camp with lots of miles on his legs from his summer play”.

Still have to sit back and tip your hat off to Parker for not wanting to rush back to the floor.
