Parker Cleared After MRI

Spurs fans can breathe a sigh of relief now that Tony Parker has been cleared from an MRI in which he had this morning concerning an injury that he sustained to his knee during an exhibition game on Monday against Spain.

Parker took to the France National Teams’ twitter account and released this statement (translated via google).

“I am not worried, I’ll be 100 percent for the Euro. I approach the competition with confidence. After the MRI this morning I follow proper care. It does not affect the next game preparation.”

The team director of the French team Patrick Beesley also took to twitter and made a statement on Parker’s injury to his right knee as stating that it is “nothing serious”.

This is a good sign for Parker and as stated a relief to Spurs fans all around the world.

EuroBasket 2013 will be held Sept. 4-22 in Slovenia. Spurs training camp begins Oct. 1.
