Seems as if DeJuan Blair is getting more media shout-outs than any time in his career with the San Antonio Spurs.  Just a few days ago, Blair, whom I am a fan of, went on to run his mouth about how the San Antonio Spurs would of beat the Miami Heat if he were playing rather than sitting.

I did not want to get into this issue because I for one like Blair and like what he could bring to the Dallas Mavericks.  But, I do hate is that he has to run his mouth when he is in sole possession of another team.  Really!?  We all knew that he was unhappy with his time in San Antonio, playing time that is, but Popovich has a system and he knows how to use his players, he for one felt that Blair would not of been any kind of force against Miami.

If that was not enough, Dan McCarney of Spurs Nation revealed that Mavericks owner Mark Cuban stated to ESPN that he expects Blair to punish the Spurs when they play each other next season.

DeJuan already knows when we’re playing the Spurs,” he told ESPN.com. “We already know what DeJuan is going to do to the Spurs. It’s going to be a beautiful thing.”

We all know how much Cuban loves San Antonio.  He has not tried to hide his true feelings for the city nor for the team.  Personally, I feel that the Cuban needs to worry more about getting his team back on board because right now, they are far from the team that brought them their first title.

Oh and Blair, may want to watch what you say if you can’t back it up.  You are a good player.  Get over yourself bro.
