If they are not competing against one another on the floor, it seems as if both are targeting the same players in the offseason, neither wants the other to get better.
Former Utah Jazz guard Mo Williams is drawing interest from the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs, in addition to the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld.
I heard Heat and Spurs were in mix if Mo Williams decides to go with contender. No surprise if Grizz are in mix too, as @ESPNSteinLine said.

Williams played just 46 games and started all of them for the Utah Jazz last season. He averaged 12.9 points, 5 assists, 2.9 rebounds per game, while playing just under 31 minutes.
Though his best years of his career were when he was with Cleveland from 2008-2011, Williams still can put the ball through the hoop and can help out either of these teams. For the Miami Heat, they have a solid back-up already in Norris Cole. For San Antonio, Gary Neal leaving, surely leaves an opening for that 15th roster spot the Spurs have.
I just don’t see either team pulling the trigger on Williams.
