The Greg Oden Sweepstakes Could Linger Into August

Greg Oden appears to be having a tough time deciding who he wants to play for next season.
Not only are the Dallas Mavericks now interested in signing the 57-year-old, I mean 25-year-old center out of Ohio State, but the Cleveland Cavaliers are still in the running, even after signing Andrew Bynum, and are legit contenders for Oden along with the Spurs and Heat.
Oden also decided to take some time off from his own version of “The Decision” to attend a Justin Bieber concert last night. No telling if Oden singing and dancing along to the Biebs is part of his rehab, but we’re guessing he had a good time.
But any fans expecting Oden to make a decision on his playing career any time soon are out of luck, according to TNT’s David Aldridge.
W/the caveat that things change (i.e., people lie): hearing Greg Oden will take his time to decide where he's going–maybe into August.

It’s hard to blame Oden for doing his due diligence in free agency. After undergoing multiple micro-fracture surgeries on his knees, he has to feel mishandled by the Trail Blazers staff. No telling where he fits on the Spurs or Heat roster, with both teams practically reloading with the same guys they had last year. But that also puts San Antonio and Miami at an advantage, since both teams can afford to let him sit and rehab back at his own pace.
In five years, Greg Oden has played exactly 82 games while averaging 9.4 points and 7.3 rebounds in just 22 minutes.
