That’s the exact same facial expression I made when I heard the news.

According to Jared Zwerling of ESPN New York and ESPN.com, an unnamed league source states that the Spurs are likely to resign Gary Neal. This of course confirms Adrian Wojnarowski’s original report that even with the Belinelli signing, the Spurs would look to resign Neal, which was the opposite of what ESPN’s Marc Stein reported.

Last night, news came out that the Milwaukee Bucks were in pursuit of Neal, along with three other unknown teams. The Bucks have already signed Carlos Delfino, O.J. Mayo and Zaza Pachulia this off-season, while at risk of losing their free agents Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis. Neal’s restricted free agent status means the Spurs can still match any offer he gets, if they want to keep
