Back to some free agency news, because what more do we want right?  According to Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski, the Dallas Mavericks have reached an agreement with guard Wayne Ellington.  The deal is reported to be 2-years worth roughly $5 million.

Dallas is adding more outside shooting to their mix after losing OJ Mayo, who has moved on to the Milwaukee Bucks.  One may come to think that the two-year deal and the money is a little stretch to Ellington, given the way his production has been during his career.

Ellington is coming off of a season with the Cleveland Cavaliers where he averaged 9.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists in 78 appearances.  He averaged just under 22 minutes a game.
