O’Neal was also in talks with the Dallas Mavericks before making his decision on the Warriors.

This past season, O’Neal played in 55 games for the Phoenix Suns while averaging just under 19 minutes a game.  He averaged 8.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game.

He just wrapped up his 17th season in the league.  He is looking to solidify the front line of the Golden State Warriors.
