The Oklahoma City Thunders’ Reggie Jackson is competing with the Summer League team in Orlando but their guard received three stitches after the game after colliding with Daniel Orton in the third quarter.
According to The Oklahoman, Jackson received three stitches above his eye and had a headache and some swelling. Jackson is not expected to miss Tuesday’s game. Orton remained in the game but left the game at the end of the third quarter.
The two ran into each other and bumped heads. Jackson finished the game with four points and seven turnovers on 2-of-7 shooting. Orton had nine points and seven rebounds.
With the departure of Kevin Martin to free agency, Jackson remains the best option off the bench this season. Russell Westbrook is supposed to be at full strength when the season starts after a knee injury knocked him out of the playoffs.
