Devin Harris looks to be headed back to a familiar place, Dallas, Texas. The free agent point guard will once again become a member of the Dallas Mavericks, reports state. The deal is said to be a three-year deal worth $9 million.
Harris began his career with the Mavericks back in 2004. He played four seasons before heading to New Jersey to play for the Nets for four seasons.
He is coming from the Atlanta Hawks where he played in just 58 games and started 34. He played just under 25 minutes a game while averaging 9.9 points and 3.4 assists, in mostly a back-up role.
He will find himself in another back-up role while in Dallas as they have recently signed Jose Calderon. Mavericks are still trying to piece together some moves as they saw OJ Mayo and Darren Collison sign with other teams this past week.
