The Golden State Warriors have acquired Andre Iguodala according to Yahoo! Sports. The two sides agreed on a 4 year, $48 million dollar contract this afternoon:
Andre Igoudala has reached agreement with Golden State on a four year, $48 million deal with the Warriors, league source tells Y! Sports.
Iguodala will be on a 4-year, $48 million deal. The Warriors unloaded a bunch of cap sending Richard Jefferson and Andris Biedrins, Brandon Rush and draft picks to the Utah Jazz.
For Warriors fans, this has to be a great feeling for them as they have themselves a young group of guys to compete in the already tough Western Conference. Warriors look like this: Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, David Lee and now Andre Iguodala.
This pick-up I can sit here and say I don’t like as the Golden State Warriors proved to be a tough opponent for the San Antonio Spurs in the second-round of the playoffs. This past season, they were one of the darlings in the playoffs with their high octane offense.
Many teams in the Western Conference have had their eyes on the Golden State Warriors. They have now made themselves one of the teams to possibly go deeper into the playoffs next season.
