A few MVP Awards and a ring under his belt is not enough for LeBron James to forget about the last time he had faced the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.

LeBron then was playing for his home team, the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2007.  It was the biggest stage in his NBA career and it did not end the way he wanted it to.  The San Antonio Spurs in Cleveland clinched the NBA title after sweeping the Cavaliers 4-0.  As Marc J. Spears from Yahoo Sports tweeted out, that loss is still fresh in LeBrons’ mind:

LeBron says he has never forgotten the Spurs celebrating on his home floor with a championship in 2007.

Every player in the league would agree that know one wants to see your opponent celebrating a title on your home floor.  The San Antonio Spurs will kick off their drive for five Thursday as game one tips off in Miami for games one and two.

History shows, the San Antonio Spurs every finals trip they have taken are 4-0.  Lets home they can make it five.  LeBron is looking to play spoiler and hoping he will be the one celebrating on their floor.
