I am not impressed with your cheerleaders or your basketball team, Memphis.
We are through two quarters at FedEx Forum, with the Spurs leading the Grizzlies 44-38. San Antonio has come out playing slightly uninspired and sloppy, but still manage to lead thanks to their 50% shooting from the field. Tony Parker leads the Spurs in scoring with 12 points, while Duncan leads the team in rebounds with four.
Leading the way for the Grizzlies is Tayshaun Prince………?
Anyway, Prince leads all the Grizzlies in scoring with eight points. Zach Randolph and Tony Allen are a combined 0-7 from the field with a combined two points.
The Spurs would be up nine if it wasn’t for a horrible five second violation to end the half, leading to a Jerryd Bayless three pointer. On the other hand, the Spurs are 0-8 from three and have shot 10 less free throws than the Grizzlies.
The sweep is 24 minutes away. Go Spurs Go.
