Fresh off of beating the Golden State Warriors in 6 games to advance to the Western Conference Finals, some disconcerting news about the Spurs small forward, Kawhi Leonard.

Storyline for next round: Leonard’s knee. It’s bothering him and mild cause for concern.

Leonard’s been dealing with this knee issue all year, that caused him to miss a month earlier this season. Maybe logging heavy minutes in the playoffs has caused a slight flair up. But with the Spurs having 6 of the next 8 days off, Leonard’s tendinitis can only improve. Still something we will be monitoring as the playoffs continue.
