Oh the smirk of Gregg Popovich.  He and the San Antonio Spurs have been laid up in their homes, keeping a close eye on whom they would be facing in the second round of the Western Conference finals.  Lastnight all of that came to light.

The Golden State Warriors now have the task of facing the San Antonio Spurs.  A team that has been on a break that I myself am getting restless and yelling, “WHEN WILL IT START AGAIN!”

No fears, we can all relax and know that Monday, May 6th the drive for five continues on.  After the dispatching of the Kobe-less Lakers, San Antonio got the rest they so deserved and were hoping for.  For the Golden State Warriors, they almost saw their demise as they almost threw away game six.

All that is now behind us as we now turn our attentions to round two.  The first two games of the series have been announced and scheduled and will both be on national television, TNT.

Game 1 (Gametime is Central Time Zone)Mon., May 6 – Golden St. at San Antonio8:30PM – TV: TNT

Game 2 (Gametime is Central Time Zone)Wed., May 8 – Golden St. at San Antonio8:30PM – TV: TNT

As always, we will bring you the full schedule as soon as it has been released.
