Having lost three consecutive road games — the Spurs began the season 11-2 on the road — San Antonio could use an added boost.
Kawhi Leonard, whose missed the past 17 games with tendinitis in his right knee, is expected to return to the lineup tomorrow against Denver according to Pounding the Rock’s Twitter feed.
Denver is tough at home, dropping one of seven games at the Pepsi Center.
Along with Stephen Jackson, who returned in the loss to Oklahoma City, and the small forward rotation will return to much-needed continuity. The Spurs made do without the two, winning 12 of 14 games in their absence.
Leonard was averaging 10.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and two steals prior to the injury.
