The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in their home opener.
The win, their first home victory since Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, didn’t come without it’s share of theatrics.
Tony Parker, who finished with 14 points and 11 assists on the night, knocked down a pair of critical shots in the final minute, including the game-winning buzzer beater to give the Spurs the nod over the defending Western Conference champions.
Tim Duncan scored a team-high 20 points, in addition to eight rebounds. Kawhi Leonard created five steals defensively, making extra possessions like the Parker buzzer-beater possible.
San Antonio moves to 2-0 with the victory.
