Josh Powell signs with Olympiacos

Having been waived following the Spurs’ final preseason game against the Washington Wizards, forward Josh Powell has signed with the Greek team Olympiacos according to Sportando.
Olympiacos announced the signing of Josh Powell for the season. The player will replace Joey Dorsey. Powell, who won the NBA with the Lakers, was recently cut by the Spurs at the training camp. Last season Powell has played mostly in China.
Powell appeared in six exhibition matches with San Antonio, averaging 6.1 points and 3.9 rebounds while shooting 60.9 percent from the field.
The terms of Powell’s deal are not available. The two-time NBA champion last played in the NBA two seasons ago with the Atlanta Hawks.
