The San Antonio Spurs have waived guard Sherron Collins today, whittling the training camp roster to 19 players.

The 5-foot-11 guard out of the University of Kansas finished with three points and one assist in the Spurs’ intrasquad scrimmage on Wednesday.

Collins was fourth in assists on a Kansas team that won the national championship in 2007-08. He went undrafted before earning a five game stint with the Maine Red Claws of the NBA D-League in 2010-11.

Collins appeared in 20 games for the Charlotte Bobcats later that season, averaging 3.3 minutes, 0.9 points and 0.4 assists.
