Update Sept. 6, 12:38 pm: Andray Blatche is reportedly considering two offers from the Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets and nothing is finalized according to Michael Lee of the Washington Post.

“But according to two sources close to Blatche,     the 6-foot-11 forward has yet to make a     decision and is also considering an offer from     the Miami Heat. One person close to Blatche     said, “Nothing is finalized.”

Sept. 5, 9:03 pm: The Brooklyn Nets are close to signing free agent Blatche according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com.

According to sources, the Nets will offer Blatche a non-guaranteed contract by the end of this week. Blatche will be the 14th player on their roster.

Blatche’s non-guaranteed deal indicates that the interest in his services waned significantly after he posted career lows in true shooting percentage (.415), offensive rebounding percentage and offensive rating. His PER was his second lowest of his career.

Considering the Spurs didn’t (at least reportedly) compete with the Nets likely means they weren’t very interested in signing the petulant 26-year-old forward.
