Apparently Spurs assistant general manager Dennis Lindsey is a “strong” candidate for the position after Troy Weaver, Utah’s No. 1 target for the job, dropped out of contention to stay with Oklahoma City.

Lindsey has already garnered interest from the Orlando Magic for their general manager vacancy but they opted with the much younger Thunder executive Rob Hennigan. O’Connor will conduct the search himself according to Woj.
