Report: Bo McCalebb to play in Turkey, no longer option for Spurs

The Spurs were reportedly interested in acquiring Bo McCalebb from Siena via buyout according to Jeff Garcia of Project Spurs.
The 5’10” guard, whose skill set would have been redundant in San Antonio anyway, won’t be making a splash across the pond this season after he reached an agreement with the Turkish teach Fenerbahce Ulker, according to Sportando.
“Fenerbahce Ulker and Bo McCalebb finalized the deal yesterday. The American PG with passport from FYR of Macedonia will sign a 2+1 contract with Fenerbahce and he will earn $2M per season. Siena already reached the buyout agreement with Fenerbahce (around €1.3M). The official announcement by the Turkish powerhouse is expected soon.”
McCalebb is a fine player as far as I know, and it’s a well-known fact that a billion guards are essential on any roster, but he wasn’t a realistic addition.
