After declining his player option, Patty Mills has officially joined the Spurs. The contract details, per club policy, haven’t been released. But, yes, it’s official.
Mills appeared in 16 games (three starts) with the Spurs last season. He averaged 10.3 points while shooting 50% from the uber-efficient corner slot. In an extremely small sample size, Mills totaled a 21.5 PER
Here’s Gregg Popovich via the Spurs’ official press release:
“Patty came in and impressed us from the moment he joined us last season,” Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said. “He gives us some added depth at the guard position and we are excited to have him back in San Antonio.”
R.C. Buford also hinted that they will make Nando De Colo’s signing official later (per Jeff Garcia of Project Spurs.)
