Tony Parker is officially cleared for Olympic play according to Jeff Zillgit of USA Today.

Parker visited with two eye specialists yesterday and everything checked out fine. Here’s a release from ffbb.com:

Two eye specialists sent by the San Antonio     Spurs have confirmed the opinion of the     French doctor who had operated on Tony     Parker and said he was fit to resume     competition.

FFBB also noted that Parker would join his French squad from Atlanta, Georgia where his eye was examined by two ophtalmologists. It’s also possible that Parker could garner some playing time in France’s game against Britain tomorrow.

Now … let’s just forget this ever happened, ok?
