Manu Ginobili explained why their season was still a success.
“We’ve been always old, we’ve been always criticized for that and we still compete,” Ginobili said. “We are fine. We trust Pop and RC to make good decisions and bring talent. They did an unbelievable job this year. We had the best record in the league. What else can you expect? We just faced a great, young team. We lost a very important Game 5. But there’s not much to complain about, we had a great run.”

Stephen Jackson explained why Oklahoma City was the superior team.
“We played great the first two games and they made adjustments and their adjustments worked for them,” Jackson said. “I’m not going to make excuses, they beat us and they were the better team. They deserved it.”

Gregg Popovich talked about Oklahoma City’s amazing run to their first NBA Finals appearance.
“It’s almost like a Hollywood script for OKC in a sense,” Popovich said. “They went through Dallas, then they went through the Lakers, then they went through us (San Antonio). Those three teams represent 10 of the last 13 championships. I don’t know if anybody has had a run or gone through the playoffs, playing those kinds of teams is just incredible.”
