Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith of ESPN First Take pick the Western Conference Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs.

Staying true to his pre-season Western Conference Finals pick, Bayless picked the Spurs to move on to the NBA Finals.

“Most people think I would pick the Spurs to sweep another round of the playoffs but I’m not doing that I have too much respect for the Oklahoma City Thunder,” Bayless said. “I will go Spurs in six games, closing at Oklahoma City.”

Bayless also mentioned the brilliance of Tim Duncan this postseason. Duncan averaged 17.6 points, nine rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 54% shooting in the Spurs’ eight victories over the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers.

“Tim Duncan just might be playing the best all-around basketball of his career at age 36,” Bayless said. “He has been sensational. I think your eyes deceive you because you keep waiting for old and slow that we’ve seen the last couple of years. He is patrolling the lane and guarding the rim as great as ever did before.”
