Video: “Hairgate” resolved

Well, it looks like “Hairgate” is finally resolved. Sixth grader Patrick Robinson, whose striking haircut of Matt Bonner made him a national phenomena, was forced to shave his head ending his brief stint as a walking representation of the “Red Rocket.”
But the story doesn’t end there. Robinson and his family received VIP tickets with the ability to watch Spurs shootaround, several autographed Spurs memorabilia and the privilege to speak with Bonner one-on-one. Bonner recently said that “Hairgate” was the “nicest thing a fan has done for me.”
Robinson, understandably, is a little shocked at the attention he received.
“I never thought this would happen,” Robinson said. “I know basketball players are really busy. He didn’t have to do this (but) I’m grateful that he did all this.”
Bonner finally added that Robinson’s principal was “probably a Clippers fan.”
