Spurs Rookie Could Play In Canada
By mrehome

San Antonio Spurs rookie Corey Joseph could possibly be making his way across the border to play in Canada, Jeff McDonald of Spurs Nation has reported.
The hypochondriacs among Spurs Nation now have another international player to anguish over: According to the Canadian website Basketball Buzz, newly drafted point guard Cory Joseph — a Toronto native — is expected in training camp with that country’s national team, if and when insurance issues are cleared up.
Joseph at just 19 years old does not have the wear and tear of the other guys looking to make their jump overseas. This could be a good move for him as he would be in game shape. If Joseph makes the team he could be playing for Canada in this summers Olympic Qualifier.
