DeJuan Blair scored a career high 22 points against the Raptors.

Thank goodness there is two halves to a basketball game because our San Antonio Spurs were late showing up.  In what most, including myself thought, this should of been a blow-out from the get go.

It wasn’t and as I feared the Spurs were playing at the level of the Toronto Raptors and they, Raptors were not playing that well either in the first half.

Turnovers, Turnovers and more turnovers was the case in the first half.  On top of turning the ball over we did not play a lick of defense giving up 53 in the first half and being held to just 43.

Second half would come and that would be the difference.  We knew that in the second half we would see a different team on the floor, and we did.

The defense picked it up as well as the offense.  DeJuan Blair paced the team with another double-double scoring a career high 22 points while grabbing 11 rebounds.

Ginobili as always had key plays down the stretch and finished with a team high 23.  Parker added 17 and Duncan with 10.

George Hill was the other Spur to be in double figures as he came off the bench to hit for 14.

DeRozan scored a game high 28 for the Raptors.
