Oberto Retires From NBA

Oberto
Fabricio Oberto whom played for the San Antonio Spurs from 2005-2009, has retired from the NBA due to a heart condition. ‘Fab’ as many were calling him did win a championship with the Spurs in 2007.
He has a heart condition called atrial fibrillation which cause the heart to flutter.
“I made this decision to put my health and my family in front of basketball,” Oberto said in a release distributed by the Trail Blazers. “It was a tough decision to make after playing for so many years, but it was the right one.”
His deer friend Manu Ginobili quickly went to twitter to remind everyone that he was a great competitor and won at every stop.
Besides being a g8 teammate, he won Arg League, SouthAm League, King’s Cup, ACB, ULEB Cup, Olympic Gold and NBA. Not a bad resume.
We here at Air Alamo wish Oberto the best in his next endeavors.
