2K Simulation Was Right!

We can get used to this can't we Spurs fans? AP Photo
We outlasted the Indiana Pacers in a game that many probably in their right minds would not deem to be as close as it was. San Antonio poured down 122 points against the Pacers lastnight in their season opener. Though 122 points is nice for us fans to see, the defense was not there, at all. We gave up 109 points, to the PACERS!
How do you feel about that? More ramblings after the jump.
We are 1-0 on the season, and 1-0 with the NBA 2K11 Simulation. I know that isn’t a big deal to some of you to see the simulation but did you see the final box score of the game compared to that of the simulation? Almost perfect I must say, on the Spurs side anyways.
As I posted the same simulation over at Pounding the Rock they saw the outcome of the Simulation and one guy pointed out the big three from ours and real life, off by a few points but still in his words, uncanny.
Video games are in our world and many sites that I visit on a day to day basis use them for such simulations. ESPN Video Games uses Madden, NCAA 11 to simulate games for the weekend.
It is a part of life, you will see this from us here at Air Alamo for as long as we are writing about our beloved Spurs.
Looking back at the simulation and the box score from lastnights game.
We are looking back at the starters and some guys from the bench. Here are the numbers:
