Today’s Crazy Idea for the End of the Bench: Stanley Robinson (?)

Last week the Orlando Magic cut their second round pick from this year’s draft, Stanley Robinson, leaving him available for any team to sign. Now if you think back to the good ‘ol days of pre-draft speculation, some of you might remember a lot of touts linking this ne Mr. Robinson with the Spurs.

He may have been cut for a perfectly good reason that precludes him from consideration, but given that the Spurs were still working players out last week, I don’t see why they shouldn’t at least take a looksee. By the way, dude is a 6’9″ SF/PF with great athleticism.
