Ty Lawson looks for open room against Spur’s Jack McClinton.

Well day two of the Las Vegas Summer League was Tuesday Night and our Spurs were back on the floor and with a nail biter, they escaped with a two point win.

Malik Hairston led the team with 17 points on 7 of 11 shooting from the floor.  Ian Mahinmi was the only player to finish with a double-double.  He had 12 points and 16 rebounds.

George Hill added 16, and continues his play and shows that he is a big asset to the team when not on the floor, did some research and read that.

The team jumped out of the gates quickly storming out to a 16-6 lead 6:42 into the first quarter. Denver would then counter with a run of their own (8 to 1) but Spurs with still at the end of one hold a three point lead.

A battle that went back and forth in the second half and the Spurs holding on to the two point win.

Spurs are now 2-0 in the summer and will play the Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday night.
