Spurs Reach Agreement With PF Marcus Haislip

Marcus Haislip shown here playing back in January of 2008.
Well he is not Rasheed Wallace and I know many people can see just that. I will be the first to say that I haven’t heard much from this guy and about this guy so I had to do some digging to find out what we are getting here in San Antonio with Marcus Haislip.
For one, he is just 28 years old and was drafted 13th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2002 Draft. He is stands at 6-foot-10 and is an NBA expatriate who has become one of the most sought-after free agents in Europe.
Haislip has played the past two seasons for the Spanish powerhouse Unicaja Málaga, where he averaged 16.7 points as the team’s top scoring option last season.
I continued on to search the old world wide web and found that many Spurs fans are pretty excited with what we are getting. He has a nice build and looks to be pretty tough. He is said to be a pretty good dunker and also has a nice shot from good range.
I did find a pretty good video showing is athletecism and I must say I am impressed.
The Spurs have their entire mid-level exception to spend and will probably need it in order to remain in the running for McDyess. They also own a biannual exception to be valued at about $1.9 million, all or part of which could be used to pay Haislip.
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
