Tony Parker scores 42 to lead Spurs over Hawks.

Atlanta, Georgia — The Atlanta Hawks met one of the best point guards in the league tonight Mr. Tony Parker. Tony had his way with the Hawks as he scored 42 points on 18 of 25 shooting from the floor.

Though that wasn’t the big news from tonight, the return of Manu Ginobili. Gino who has been sidelined with an injury made his long awaited return to the lineup tonight. Though he didn’t shoot the ball well, 1 of 7 from the floor for 2 points, he did grab two rebounds and had one assist.

For me it was good to see him back on the floor but you could tell that being out for so long has got to him and hopefully he will be back in the old Ginobili shape we all love to see.

Roger Mason (say it with me) Jr. continues his strong play as he finished with 18 points.

He hit two out of five from beyond the arc.

Tim Duncan did not play as Drew Gooden got the start in his place.

He scored 9 points in 24 minutes.

Joe Johnson paced the Hawks as he went for 30.

Not much coming from the Hawks starters as they were limited but Flip Murray came off the bench to give his best Manu impression and scored 15.

We are now 46-24 on the year, first in the Southwest as Houston sits at 47 and 26.

Up next for the Spurs we take on the Los Angeles Clippers here in San Antonio!
