Manu Ginobili or Kawhi Leonard need to continue their hot streak
In the previous two games, Ginobili is averaging 23 points and three assists in just 24 minutes. He shooting a scorching 70.3 percent from the field and 52.8 percent from long range. He is playing with confidence and attacking the hoop ferociously. Sure one of the teams he happened to go off against was the Magic, but putting up such solid numbers against the defensively minded Bulls is no stroll in the park.
Kawhi Leonard continues to look strong since returning from his injury. He is averaging 15.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.6 blocks, and 2.4 assists while shooting 54.4 percent in his previous seven games. I already covered Leonard’s miniature breakout in more detail, but you can’t ignore what he is doing on both ends of the floor. We can almost certainly expect Duncan and Parker to have their usual strong games, but the Spurs will really need at least one of Ginobili and Leonard to step up tonight.
